On a side note, my cousin Alyssa has been in Spain for 3 months! She is like a sister to me. I am so excited for her return this coming Monday! Every year, our family does a cookie baking day around Christmas-time. Alyssa is going to join us..

Week by Week

Yesterday marked the start of 10 weeks in my pregnancy! I thought I would start at that point and continue to take a picture each week to see how much I change. So here is the picture for 10 weeks-

I think I'm starting to coming out the morning sickness stage.. Just feeling tired mainly and for some odd reason I sneeze a lot?

Rock A Bye Baby

The big news around here lately- I am expecting! I found out last month.

This was not planned (at least not by us).. I took it hard the day I found out... I just got married this past April and I was wanting to wait a couple of years. BUT- God had other plans for me. I am so glad He is in control. He knows what He is doing and I know that this baby will be a blessing. I am doing so much better emotionally. It's not that I didn't want children, it is just that having a child is one of my worst fears.. The whole process- being pregnant, labor and pain, and the responsibility for another life. BUT-God is my strength and my rock. He will help me through all of this.

Today was my first Dr.'s appointment. I heard the heartbeat! It was amazing :)

Last Wedding of the Year

My friends Mandie and Jacob got married last week! I feel like this year has been a whirlwind of weddings (starting with mine)! This was the 5th and final wedding of the year for me. This wedding was special because- 1. Mandie was in my wedding this past April

2. She was married at the same place I was (it was like a flashback for me).

I wasn't the official photographer for this wedding, but I did get a few good shots :)

* My local Target did not carry Gold Peak Tea, so I went to my local Woodman's.. It was on sale for 99 cents, so technically I got it for free (but I ended up having to pay tax which was 8 cents for both bottles).

I also went to Kohl's today and got some gifts for Christmas as well as a winter coat for my husband. I spent $160 (with a 30 % off coupon) and I got $30 in Kohls cash back!
