Today's interview is with the shop-owner of Monicutte/MW-

1. Tell me a little bit about yourself-

Well, I actually live in Mexico city, but I spent my childhood in the USA. I really love everything handmade, jewelry, clothing, and unique things. I am a student, so I try to do crafty things as a hobby. I really love all the animals :) and being outdoors, Earth is... too beautiful. Owls are sort of my thing, I love, love, love owls! ( I have to admit it... I have owls sheets…)

2. How did you get started on Etsy?

Well, that is a long story, I was searching some clothing for my little Pomeranian, Remi, and I found an Etsy shop full of puppy clothing! After some months, I started to sell handmade stuff :)

3. How did you come up with your shop name?

My shop's name is MW ( My World, My Way) I took that name because I really think that life is as you want it, nobody can make you change.

4. What is your goal?

My goal is to have a big shop where people could find lovely handmade stuff and make their own!

5. What would you like to improve upon?

I would like to have more variety of items in my shop, and get 1000 views in my blog!

6. What is your favorite item in your shop?

Well, actually my favorite item are the owl stickers... :Dguess why?

7. Do you remember your first sale? What was it?

Of course I remember! My first sale was the seasons bracelet hair ties, I listed them just one day before I sold them, I was so impressed I couldn't believe it!

 8. Do you have any promotion tips?

Yes, I do! *If you want to get more shop views, add a link to your shop in every item description, when people see the blue letters, they just click on them!* Try to have other ways to get found! (blog, facebook, twitter, etc) *Be yourself, nothing helps more than that.*Try to send messages to cute shop owners, they will thank you and later watch your shop!

9. What is your favorite color?

The same as my favorite fruit, orange!

10. How can others contact you (blog, facebook, twitter, etc)?

Well, because of personal problems, I don't like to use facebook, but you can find me in my little blog:www.ahandmadeblog.blogspot.com (as the name says it's a blog about handmade and my daily life)
